Location was stellar! Just a short walk around the corner from the Shimizu Train Station. Plenty of restaurants nearby and an Aeon grocery store one block away. The hotel offered complimentary umbrellas for rainy day use. The room was one of the largest we had booked for our stay and the beds were very comfortable. It was a great value for the price paid. The buffet breakfast was simple, but was included in the price of our room when we booked, so can't complain. There were Japanese and Western options. We were lucky enough to have a clear day the day after the first snow of the year on Mt. Fuji. This shot was from the Shizuoka train station.

Staff cannot speak English but tried their best to use the translation device and hands gestures. If you want to experience public bath, this is the way to go. No bath in your room. Only toilet and sink. Location is great. Food is lovely. The view is phenomenal. Will definitely visit again.
