The gem of Osaka, a truly unique experience and accommodation. We visited other high-end ryokans and hotels in Tokyo, Hakone and Kyoto but this was probably one of the most authentic and memorable places we went. The zazen at 8PM, the bath with volcanic stones, the amazingly comfortable sleep, and Buddhist breakfast the following day felt like a mini retreat from the busyness of Osaka and Tokyo. Everything was so amazing here. My three kids (12, 10, & 7) approve of this hotel. Very family friendly with lots of fun activities! Great location too!

The location is excellent so we can easily go to Totonbori and take the train. They don't have breakfast but there is wonderful tea lounge. There are various kind of drink vending machine for free. We just buy bread and had light snack for breakfast.
