Overall, the neighborhood is convenient. Has restaurants and market, pharmacy and convenient store neirby.

    Second time staying here. Amazing location in Ikebukuro, right next to Sunshine City and a convenience store. Staff were friendly. The room is on the small side, but they provide a luggage rack so it is manageable as a solo traveller.
