When travelling to a completely new place for the first time, one of the best things you can find is a warm, friendly welcome and kindness from your host that exceeds your expectations. Going back to Wagokoro at the end of a long day in busy Tokyo city was like coming home to family. We had lovely conversations and always felt taken care of - I even felt so comfortable practising my basic Japanese with our hosts as they are so nice to talk to us every day. The room was lovely with wooden interiors, and we really loved hanging out in the common room. The common room had an equipped kitchen, free tea and coffee, and cute tables to sit and have a snack or meal. There are also lots of good places to eat around the hotel, and the train station was just a 7-minute walk away. Wagokoro had a level of hospitality that we have never experienced before, it's definitely a place we would like to stay at again next time in Tokyo :)

Clean and comfortable, room was not too small, blackout curtains were good, staff were helpful in assisting us to send our luggage to another hotel in tokyo 2 days later. Surrounding is nice and quiet. Near nippori station which has skyliner to/from narita airport.

    It’s the best quality for the money you’d pay. The hostel is less than 10 minutes walking from JR Tabata station where you can take Yamanote line and get anywhere in Tokyo. There’s also Lawson right in front of the hostel, so you’d always be stacked with drinks and snacks. There’re also a lot of nice restaurants and cafes around that area, but tbh I’ve never visited any of them, so I can’t confirm if they’re good or not.
