We had an incredible experience at Shintana Saya. The hotel is absolutely beautiful — stylish, serene, and perfectly located for anyone planning to explore the Angkor temples. If you’re heading to the temples, definitely book their tuk tuk experience! It was a game changer — our driver took us to all the key sites, and we were provided with cold water and refreshing wet towels between stops. Such a thoughtful touch! The hotel’s restaurant is excellent — we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there, and everything was delicious. The pool area is gorgeous and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We booked a package that included a complimentary daily massage, and it was amazing — a perfect way to unwind. The whole experience was so well curated and peaceful. We would absolutely come back!

Everything was just perfect! Nice, cozy, comfortable. Delicious food. Nice swimming pool. The best staff ever! They booked tours and tickets for me, were very friendly and helpful. It’s not located in the city center- I consider it as an important advantage! It’s close but the place is quiet.

The staffs were super friendly and helpful! Big shout to Liza, Kim, Moch and Brathna. They are full of joy and energy. They speak good English and always willing to go out of their way to help the guests. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The location is perfect, not too far from city centre nor Angkor Wat temple. It's located in a quiet area, so you don't wake up in the middle of the night. Nearby resturants and spa shops to your liking. Highly recommend this place! Goodluck to the Liza, Kim, Moch and Brathna.

Angkor Wat

This epic temple is so revered in Cambodia it appears on the country’s flag. Built during the 12th-century heyday of the Khmer Empire, it was first dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu before becoming a Buddhist temple. In terms of size and complexity, you can’t help but be bowled over by its barrage of giant moats, steep walls and lofty beehive-like towers.

    Wonderful site.

Wonderful site. The biggest and best preserved relic of that era hundreds of years ago. Most of the time one can escape the crowds and have some moments of peace, especially away from the center of the site.

This is an amazing place that should be visited several times. The government managed tourist pass can cover three days which provides access to the temple area of Seim Reap. I recommend a first visit with a government registered guide. Then return on later days to wander and really immerse yourself in the history. Make sure your camera is ready to take a lot of photos because you will find yourself snapping shots very quickly and often.

We had a lovely stay! This was definitely the best accommodation we've stayed so far on our travels. The people are lovely, helpful and we felt very welcomed. They helped us organise a scooter and everything else we needed. Don't miss the complimentary tea time (they make fresh waffles for you :) ) For everyone who wants to stay near Angkor Wat in a tranquil, nice hotel to relax - then this is for you! We had a great stay at Eightfold. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The room/ensuite were large and comfortable. The pool was lovely and the gardens were lush which gave it a nice tropical feel. We had dinner/lunch in the hotel throughout our stay and really enjoyed the dishes on the Asian menu. We also organised our transport to Angkor Wat, the driver was incredibly lovely. Overall, no complaints. Was a nice and relaxing stay. They also have a shuttle service to/from town which isn’t far away.

The hotel inside is so beautiful and clean, the staff is welcoming and they helped us in every kind of request. The rooms are wide and comfortable. Also the position is cool because you’re close to Angkor Wat and just about 5-10 minutes from Siem Reap city, away from the city noise. Excellent location, very close to Angkor Wat. The hotel organizes everything for you, from the airport pickup to the tour at Angkor Wat. It's super clean, beds are very comfy and the shower is great. The food at the restaurant is particularly good, specially the Cambodian specialities. Since we visited in rainy season we spent most of the time at the hotel and we are very grateful we had everything we needed at the hotel.

the pool is spectacular, the pool bar great, (any cocktail 2.5$) and the food excellent. We had twin deluxe room with pool view for 5 nights. Very nice. Of course, we saw Angkor Wat and the Kulen Waterfall but the rest of the time we were happily staying in our hotel and going out in. the night in the well organised and clean centre with a decent nightlife. I live in Bangkok since 3 years and I regret not having discovered Cambodia earlier. I also recommend Luang Prapang in Laos.

Do take a guided tour of the temples but not with Siem Reap Shuttle Tours - such an amazing place to visit with so much to learn and discover...shame we had the tour guide from "I don't like you because you won't buy the expensive lunch on offer" so he from then on hardly spoke to us! Incredibly rude and spoilt what should have been one of our best explorations. Out of eight people on the tour we were the only two to stick it out till the end as we only had the one day to see as much as we could...we then had to watch many programmes on Angkor Wat to find out what we had just seen! A big shame.
