The place is absolutely beautiful. All the photos that you can see, thy are similar to reality. The welcoming very friendly also. The room is big and the bed is very comfortable. Air conditioner works perfectly. The shower doesn’t work correctly, because sometimes the water was hot and sometimes was cold. The breakfast amazing. Fruit, coffe and everything you can imagine. But the best was the staff, SAMAN, SAMEERA and ALIL. These three were always smiling and paying attention to us. THANK YOU. Abrazos desde Canarias - España.

    Lovely but quite a touristy trap.

    Lovely but quite a touristy trap. The exorbitantly priced food was what I was aghast about. About 5 to 10 times more expensive than most restaurants and eateries elsewhere in Sri Lanka. Also, most eateries were not as clean as in the rest of SL. The town is great to walk through but lack of fairly priced eateries with good food is a clear deterrant.

    Serendipitous is a great word to describe this place. There's aways something pleasantly surprising around the corner. Be it an influencer trying to get a good shot without the crowds or families walking the ramparts.
