Might seem small but it packs a big punch... The art work is amazing, the story behind Frida and all of the adversity she overcame. Traveler tip, if you are going and you can, try to schedule for the last Wednesday night of the month, special live enactment of Frida's life by a local performing arts group. Buy tickets online in advance. Watch the 2002 movie, "Frida," to get an idea of how Kahlo's family lived. Take a free walking tour of Coyocan before or after the museum to see the neighborhood.
