It's an amazing place. They built the place around the natural boulders. The pool is awesome, with a great dessert view. Also possible the rock dassies are cute.

We enjoyed everything. A perfect location to visit Fish River Canyon and relax at the pool.

It is a wonderfully eclectic oasis of Namibian, charm and history. With the old car theme and imaginative decor, the ambience is unique. The staff were lovely from the restaurant, reception and bar to the extremely helpful Christian, who seemed to be everywhere and made sure we had a mechanic to fix a technical issue with our car. The food we had for lunch and dinner was also lovely. I highly recommend staying here, but make sure you book early!

This was our favourite campsite of our two-week trip to Namibia. Each spot is very big and private and the shared facilities are really clean, comfortable and bug-free (excellent hot showers with a lockable changing area, and very clean and private toilets). Even though the campsite was full, we were never queuing for a toilet or shower. We also had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant - food was good quality yet inexpensive, and the service was the best we had at a campsite (Diana in the restaurant deserves a special mention).

With far-reaching views over Fish River Canyon just below, the private chalets at this property have rooftop windows. Each has an outdoor shower, and an outdoor pool is available.

The view is amazing and the lodge is built to make us enjoy it as it deserves to be enjoyed. The canyon drive was amazing!!
