The room was large with a great shower and fridge, looking over the garden. We were able to store and charge our bikes in the large garden shed. The house was the Mayors house very, historic, huge and interesting, weddings still take place there. We went to the VVV and were given a personal tour of the museum by a lovely man and lady. Breakfast was excellent smoked salmon and scrambled eggs , smoothie, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Lovely lady who served breakfast too.The historic centre is not huge but beautiful.

Very nice, modern hotel. Location is superb, very closed to the train station, but shops and downtown are also only in 10-15 minutes distance. People at the reception are also very kind.

I have never had such a restful night's sleep. The pillows were not just comfortable; they were like something out of a dream – as soft as the moon itself (my wife even bought those pillows for us)! For those who appreciate tranquility, this hotel is a sanctuary of peace. It was so quiet; I could hear my own heartbeat. The serene atmosphere made my stay truly relaxing, and I left feeling rejuvenated. One of the highlights of my visit was the hotel's pet-friendly policy. Traveling with my furry friend is a must, and this hotel made it an absolute delight. It's clear they understand the importance of making every member of the family feel at home. And let's talk about breakfast – wow! The spread was nothing short of fantastic. A variety of fresh, delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start my day, and I felt energised for whatever adventures awaited. The staff deserves a special mention. Their friendliness and attentiveness were outstanding.
