Hot thermal heated pool outside our door! Excellent location in small township, quiet, walk to free DOC thermal walk and short drive to lake. Spotlessly clean!!! 10 stars for cleanliness. The new beds were excellent. The family unit had a lot of room Note: The Tokaanu Hotel is an older establishment, but it is in the process of an upgrade, and the price absolutely reflects this. We would absolutely stay again.

People make the difference in everything and our host, Sandra, wasnt the exception. She did her best so that we had a pleasant and comfy stay! When we arrived after a long day on the roads, she offered to upgrade us for a better sleep. Loved her! Her house? A small paradise for any hiker arriving at Turangi! Clean, spacious, easy for socializing, offering a variety of facilities and free parking! Definitely one of our best stays in whole new Zealand!

Allan and Lynn were so friendly and welcoming. The cedar wood hot tub was a serious highlight but the whole place was just really homely and comfortable. The garden was beautifully done and the breakfast selection was just lovely. Their pets were beautiful and we loved having a pat. Nothing to fault with this little piece of paradise. Would highly recommend staying.

I loved it so much even though it is only a 1bedroom thete is heaps of space, inside and out my dog had a great time there running around the big back yard in the rain. 🙂
