Amazing stargazing just outside the camp if you have clear nights. The room was comfortable and clean - what you would expect from a holiday park setting - and the shared kitchen is functional if a bit small for the number of people staying.

Best place I stayed in all of New Zealand!! Sandra is incredibly kind and helpful. Riverstone was a great base to wait out the weather to hike the tongariro crossing. The place itself is super clean and cozy, and has a nice patio to enjoy the sun and a well equipped kitchen.

The heat pump was turned on, so it was lovely and cost warm when we arrived. Appreciated the coffee machine. Warm, comfortable, information available about local places of interest. Close to town, so short trip to get petrol and food essentials. Would recommend
