Although in general we have high requirements as guests, the drifter was the best hostel ever for us until now. The location is very convenient, walking distance to the centre. There are many places for socializing and good vibes. Even the kitchen, which is really busy sometimes, helps bringing people closer. Painting and free yoga courses are "plus".

Originally built in the 1880s, Merivale Manor offers elegant and luxurious accommodation with free WiFi access. Christchurch city centre is only a 5-minute drive away.
