Unique hotel in front of the park entrance. The staff and the service are great. We received so many small gifts during the stay like: rain coats, water containers, unlimited free mini bar and room service, chocolates, etc… plus, dinner and lunch were included in the room price (full board). The room is rather small, but has all the luxury items! The hotel gives you access to the Hiram Bingham lounge at the águas calientes train station which is a huge plus (the station is super crowded), even if you are taking another train like vista dome. Plus, they will take care of your luggages from the hotel to the lounge.

Boasting a shared lounge, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, Amakonkay Machupicchu is situated in Machu Picchu, 700 metres from Machu Picchu Hot Spring and a few steps from Bus Stop.

The wonderful attention, Edilberto's friendliness is first class, he exceeds our expectations by taking care of my family, the room was clean and spacious. In the morning he offered us one of the best American breakfasts, the relationship and quality is adequate for the service and A good family break, my children will return with their friends to visit Machupicchu.

Lovely hotel, nice spacious room a frw steps away from the hot springs. The village is very small, so you do not have to worry that it is far from the center, the train stazion is 10 minutes away tops, but the only noise you can hear here is the little river nearby. We loved our stay here.

Hotel Pucara Machupicchu is set in Machu Picchu, 300 metres from Wiñaywayna Park and 2.1 km from Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum.

Fantastic included breakfast that starts at 5:00am for early-rising tourists and visitors to Machu Picchu! The front desk upgraded us to a room with better views from the window, all for free! What a treat, and thank you so much. Showers were very hot — something we were looking forward to, and Hotel Pucara delivered!

Lucienda (hotel manager/owner?) picked us up at the train station. We did not have a ticket to Machu Picchu at that time and she immediately brought us to the ticket office and gave us advice on how to approach it. On the hotel, the location was FANTASTIC, just 20m away from the gathering point for the bus pickup to Machu Picchu, and 100m to the train station. Basically it was close to where all the action was, yet the hotel lobby was quiet enough. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Bed and pillows were good, and shower was strong with hot water. The breakfast spread was delicious, and they take orders for freshly squeezed juices and eggs. Most importantly, the hotel owners were attentive to all our needs and did their very best to accommodate to us.
