The hotel is at perfect location, everything is close and there are a lot to see, easy access to all public transport. The Fado room was small but really well equipped, had everything that I needed, a comfy double bed, full length mirror, central air, table and chairs, 2 windows and the view was stunning. It was really quiet and with the blackout curtains I had good sleep. The hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful! They even surprised me with chilled wine and cake for my birthday! The breakfast was nice and had a good variety to choose from.

    Beautiful Rossio train station has service to Sintra. The square is large with many flowering purple trees in the spring. Lots of good restaurants nearby, both moderate and higher end. Area is very flat and easily walkable.

    There is a Metro station on the square which can easily get you to the airport. There is also the Rossio train station where you can take the train to Sintra for the day. Well worth the trip.     A fabulous location, just a stone's throw from all the attractions of central Lisbon and the bairro alto, the famous 28 tram route, the Rossio station, the metro and so on. At the same time, quiet, peaceful and pleasant. Lovely clean, well-appointed apartment with everything you need for a few days stay or longer.

    spacious, new, clean, location is good, the neighbourhood seems a bit sketchy but its safe, we were with 2 young children and never had a problem walking around in the evenings, gets a bit more sketchy later in the night like any big city, the apartment was spacious, host very responsive, ac worked very well, good washer and dryer, easy check in/out, 5 min walk from intendente metro station, just 2 stops from rossio square, lots of international and interesting restaurants and stores in the vicinity

    The apartment is 2 min to Figuira sqare and 5 minutes walk from Rossio Square, and 2-5 minutes to the Green metro station, 5 minute to Rua de Augusta where you could find lots of restaurants and taverns. 10-minute walk to Baixa-Chiado metro station. With tram 15E from Figueira Square you could go directly to Belem. Big apartment with lots of art objects very nice, beds and bedroom were comfortable. One bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower, the other bathroom is nice and accessible from the living room.

    Nice apartment near to the city centre - we walked to the Rossio square and it took about 15 minutes (with children!). A small supermarket in 2 min walking distance. The host was very welcoming, the apartment itself was clean comfortable.

    Hotel LX rossio is very cute hotel on perfect location. Very value for the money. For sure you will not find better location in Portugal. Better than stars they have. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is nice, people are very kind with smile. Very easy connection with public transport everywhere you like to travel (to ocean ,sintra etc) Thank you we will for sure come again for our next stay in Lisbon

    Location is excellent. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby and a few minutes walk to Praca Luis de Camoes, a square where there are a number of tram stops, to include the well known tram 28, which will take you around the City sights. Also about a 6 minutes walk to Lisbon Rossio train station. The hotel room is a good size, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with shower. Reception are friendly and helpful. We did not eat there so cannot comment on food and drink.

    We had a truly wonderful stay at My Story Rossio Hotel! Upon arrival, we received a voucher for a welcome drink and a discount for dinner, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and has a fresh, pleasant scent throughout. The reception staff were exceptional – always welcoming us with a smile, kind, and ready to help with anything we needed. We felt genuinely cared for and very comfortable during our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon. Aga & Paweł 🌸

  • Lisbon is the perfect balance.

    Lisbon is the perfect balance. Small enough to be walked in a morning yet culturally rich with museums, art galeries, cultural centers and theatres. It has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and enough antiquities to satisfy any budding historian. Generally a safe city but watch your bags and wallets as pickpockets and opportunist thieves do operate, often around Rossio and especially on the notorious number 28 tram, where the pickpockets operate in organised teams of 4-5 people. Keep your purse zipped in your bag and your bag firmly over your shoulder and you will not have any problems.

    Go to Belem, visit Os Jerónimos and try the famous pastéis de Belem. A one day trip to Sintra (40 minutes bay train from Rossio station) will take you to a fairytale place.

    Found the people of Lisbon to be very patient, polite and friendly. Took their time, tried to understand a problem, and give all the help they could. Easy going pace of life, a most beautiful city. Our particular thanks to Vera who worked the Lisbon Information Kiosk on Rossio Sq. her input every day was like having a personal guide. Pity the trains had to go on strike.....but then how else will they get heard!!
