Hotel Amber is new, modern and in a great location. What makes Hotel Amber special was the incredible staff. From the front desk to housekeeping the staff at Hotel Amber was so friendly, helpful and professional. The bellmen consistently went above and beyond their normal duties to make my stay enjoyable. One day I returned to the hotel with an injured foot that required some ice. I asked the Bellman Ben if he could help. He practically beat me to the room with a bag of ice.

Second time staying so this says a lot. The price was great. Will definitely book the same style room on next visit. Little cafeteria rest across the street was delicious and the price great. The massage parlor half way down the block was amazing. 200 baht for foot massage was well worth it. The Cafe in the lobby had good coffee.

This is my first time go to Pattaya with my husband. My husband likes smoking, the room has a balcony can do it. And we went to the beach, the room has a washing machine, very convenient. The bed is soft, we slept very well. The staffs always smiling, the location is very quiet, and convenient. Even the breakfast don't have many choices, but it's tasty. Everything was good, if I come back next time, i will choose this hotel again. By the way, the massage in this hotel was amazing！

    Dangerous at night due to gangs of scammer youths who...

    Dangerous at night due to gangs of scammer youths who pretend to be homeless and have no money to get people to buy food at the nearby 7/11 that they can eat or sell; i tried to report this to the nearby police station who after 50 minutes of discussion, informed me that the beach near the Hilton Hotel is under the jurisdiction of a different police. I reported several crimes to various police officers in Pattaya and other towns on that coast. My experience suggests it is not a good idea to do this and I advise staying away from BiB as much as possible, whether tourist police or full time police officers.

    Lots of great restaurants on upper floors and a super cheap...

    Lots of great restaurants on upper floors and a super cheap food court in the lower level (put credit on a card, order what you want and any remaining credit on card can be refunded easily) Movie Theatre was an enjoyable air-conditioned getaway for a few hours. Air Asia even has shuttle services running to Pattaya airport from one laneway beside the shopping centre.
