I had an amazing stay at Shiva Lodge in Koh Tao. The location feels like a tropical hideaway tucked into the jungle, surrounded by lush greenery, such a peaceful paradise. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish, which made the experience even better. The room was beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. Everywhere I looked there were thoughtful touches, and the overall design was just perfection. It truly felt like a little sanctuary. I’d highly recommend Shiva Lodge to anyone looking for a serene and stylish escape on the island.

I had a wonderful stay at the Mar Ozo Hotel. The girls at reception were so nice, kind, and extremely helpful, which made check-in a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a really nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was always hot water available. I also appreciated the little details like water in the fridge and being well taken care of while waiting for the room to be ready. Overall, an excellent stay – highly recommended!

Super clean, efficient and just a really well run place. The location was perfect as it’s 10 min walking distance to the southern beach (a quieter more relaxed vibe), but also has a bunch of great restaurants, scooter rental places, a fruit stall etc right on the doorstep. Given that you basically need to rent a scooter to get around anywhere on Koh Tao, it doesn’t really matter that it’s not right at the beach. Much quieter area of the island than the main beach which we preferred.

Beachfront. Perfect for divers. Chalok Bay is a nice calm place to stay. It’s a nice small neighbourhood with everything you need and lots of dining options. 5 minute scooter drive to the hustle and bustle of Sairee.

    I liked that you're central to Sairee & Mae Haad Pier. Room was across the road and away from reception but girls were lovely and sorted any problems or fix ups quickly. Close to very nice deep beach at the end of Mae Haad.

    The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room has access to a television which is always handy if you’re having an early night. The location is good too as close to restaurants, diving schools and Mae Haad Pier.

    Great location from Mae Haad pier, about a 5 minute walk. Close to some nice bars and restaurants, 711 close by and some lovely beaches too :) The hostel is right next to their dive centre which was amazing and we loved gaining our Open Water certificate with Scubadoo. The rooms are a good size with big beds and an ensuite - they are cleaned every day which is great. The hostel has a nice communal area with sofas, microwave, fridge and drinking water.
