Touristic place were everything is extremely expensive.

Touristic place were everything is extremely expensive. At least they tell you that they’ll rip you, not like elsewhere. Very dirty. No bins to through away your garbage. You eat a snack while going taxim on foot? Just through it on the street. What can I say? Never seen this before. Everything dirty. Baklava? 1 kilo goes for at least 55 euros!!! And nothing significant to justify its price. Whatever. I won’t be back. Beware people.

    Taksim Square isn’t just a place — it’s a pulse.

Taksim Square isn’t just a place — it’s a pulse. Standing there feels like standing at the crossroads of the world. People of every background, every language, every style pass by — a kaleidoscope of faces and smiles, laughter drifting on the air like music. There’s a kind of beautiful chaos here: street performers, flags waving, the call of vendors, the clatter of trams. You don’t just visit Taksim — you feel it. We found our rhythm in its vibrant streets — hopping from one soulful meyhane to the next, sipping on raki and sampling grilled fish fresh from the Bosphorus. Those meals weren’t just food — they were celebrations. Of flavor, of friendship, of the moment. Around the table, we toasted to being together, to where we were, and to where we were going. Taksim gives you permission to be fully present. You can truly enjoy — and that’s what we did with close friends.

    Very busy place!

Very busy place! Better prices than Grand Bazar but very different variety. A lot of very steep walking slops, very hard to walk up or downwards. Must buy fresh Lavandar from an old woman sitting on the footsteps of a small mall!

Central point, you can get to Metro, bus, funicular (and consequently to tram), also to the bus to airport. Lots of hotels that are good to stay there, Simit Sarayi good place for snack or breakfast, small Italian restaurant for good food, exchange office

Always - always check on your bags and watch and specially cameras. Wallets are never safe. Food is bad here. Sometimes, old as well. Too many thugs. I really like the vibe but not the place. Mostly touristy and fishy. Not recommended. Over priced as well.

I have to commend the receptionists Sara and Senee for being helpful and accommodating during my stay in hotel. The place is stone throw away from the busy Istiklal street towards Taksim Square. The closest metro station is Şişhane. I would like to stay in the same hotel when I come back to Istanbul. Very cute but clean. It also has an ensuite bathroom.

I used an one bed apartment in the top floor. The room was super clean and spacious. The balcony was the highlight. I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night and saw the night view. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The check in and check out processes were super smooth. The location of the hotel is also nice. I took the havabus from the airport to Taksim square, and then walked to the hotel in about 7 minutes. No climbing was required to get the hotel.

The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was always cleaned well. Close to Taksim square in a walking distance. The breakfast is very good and there was always a good selection, all cooked very well, however it's always the same items. This hotel was recommended by my friend after spending 1 night about 8 years ago, and she said the hotel was refurbished and the service is still very good. We were very satisfied during our stay. Thanks from Malta.

Everything was superb. The room was clean and quiet, the stuff very politely and location was fantastic. Breakfast is on the sixth floor and there is a beautiful view of Istanbul from above. The hotel is located a few hundred meters from Taksim Square and the F1 metro line, which takes you to the tram at Kabataş and from there it takes only twenty minutes to reach all the tourist locations. We recommend the hotel to everyone.

The location - short walk to Taksim Square, popular area within tourists. Good spot for starting any tour in Istanbul. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The balcony is small but is good for smokers and coffee drinking. There is a shop accross the street working til late hours. The swimming pool is nice.

    - My friend and I travelled around Turkey for around 10 days and this hotel has the most options for breakfast. - it's quite close to the Taksim square and it's just a 2-min walk to the Istiklal Avenue, but since it's not on this street, it's not noisy at night, which is a good thing.
