Touristic place were everything is extremely expensive. At least they tell you that they’ll rip you, not like elsewhere. Very dirty. No bins to through away your garbage. You eat a snack while going taxim on foot? Just through it on the street. What can I say? Never seen this before. Everything dirty. Baklava? 1 kilo goes for at least 55 euros!!! We found our rhythm in its vibrant streets — hopping from one soulful meyhane to the next, sipping on raki and sampling grilled fish fresh from the Bosphorus. Those meals weren’t just food — they were celebrations. Of flavor, of friendship, of the moment. Around the table, we toasted to being together, to where we were, and to where we were going.
