i honestly cannot express how perfect everything was. From the lovely staff to the service to going extra and beyond. Firstly, consider I am someone who is very well traveled across most parts of the world and have high standards for my stays and the service I receive. I can confidently say at Sunshine bay met all my expectations were met, it has all the traits for a perfect relaxing stay: Really really good food, much better then the top rated hotel I am staying at right now also on the island, incredible service, the staff super attentive and friendly, which is very important, and very good living conditions, wide rooms with comfortable bed, nice terrace, etc. Props to the manager Kilosa for being super helpful, going so far as to making sure I am to recover some AirPods I left there.

Swimming pool, hanging beds next to it, inflatable toys, great food (compared to local standards) and fantastic and friendly staff. The large rooms were modern with European standard and equipped with AC. No issues with Wi-Fi. Out of 4 places we stayed in Zanzibar this one was so far the best.

Owners are incredible and can help you book excursions or transportation anywhere you want to go. They helped us arrange 4 days worth of activities, and we'd decide the night before what we wanted to do the next day. They had great advice in what was worth seeing. Room was beautiful and great that they could accommodate three people in one room. Wifi was a little iffy and only available in the restaurant. But would absolutely recommend and plan to visit again.
