    Midweek the crowds are fewer and you get to enjoy the park.

    Midweek the crowds are fewer and you get to enjoy the park. Very glad to see that they are no longer allowing buskers to have amplifiers... a little quieter. We were disappointed that the Botanical Garden and conservatory was closed for repairs... next time we will see it restored.

    Great studio with plenty of space and really comfortable beds. The location is great for Balboa Park, little Italy and the harbor area. It was great to have a full kitchen and the bathroom had everything you could need. The air conditioning was good to have as well. Communication from the host was just the right level - helpful but not intrusive. I would stay again.

    You cannot beat the location of this hotel. There is a lovely farmers market on Saturdays just outside the front door and there are many restaurants within a few blocks. You are also close to the waterfront, Seaport Village, Balboa Park, and other tourist destinations. The front desk staff was also friendly.

    The property was conveniently located, everywhere from Balboa Park, Mission Beach, La Jolla, Corondo Beach and downtown were never more than a 15 minute drive away.

    I'm so glad this place was available for us! We were cancelled on at a different property while driving to San Diego for an 8 day stay! It is close to everything tourists need to do downtown and Balboa Park. I loved the gated entry which helped us feel much safer along with the guaranteed parking spot. This place was essential for our family to have an affordable vacation. The price was right AND it's only one freeway exit from Costco which fed us every night.

    Location was very good - there is a Sprouts grocery store within walking distance, lots of little shops and parks. Also a short drive to Balboa park. Apartment was perfect for a family.

    We love the location and how easy it is to get there from the zoo and Balboa Park. The room was nice and cool and beds were clean. Needed more towels than we were given and the guy was super duper quick about getting them up to us, like...minutes after asking he was at the door. Excellent.
