The location is extraordinary! The hotel is located a mere handful of steps off times square and Broadway. Despite that, the room was surprisingly quiet. Both of us slept well and besides some buzz from the vent / AC I did not hear anything during the night. The room, bathroom, and community areas were clean and the room service very thorough every day. Breakfast was good for a continental breakfast and included an array of bagels and danish pastry, packed butter, cream cheese and two kinds of jam, honey, two kinds of cereals, Yoghurt, some fruit, coffee, hazelnut coffee, decaf, an espresso machine, a selection of bagged teas, lemon-infused water, and orange juice. Among the best and most special things at this hotel, the breakfast room is used as a lounge during the rest of the day. The ambience / atmosphere here is lovely keeping the namesake Casablanca style (Moroccan tiling, pictures, bronze statues of wild animals) in a library style room with a cozy fireplace. Here, fruit, chips, sweet energy bars, coffee and tea, and a selection of cold drinks are provided for free all day producing an island of calm to have a break from the busy city outside. The staff was extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and courteous but kept a relaxed and humorous charm all the while. Untypical for NYC, in no way were they detached or hovered above the things.

The individual touch on all the support given and the responsiveness to any requests made. Staff is just brilliant, especially at breakfast (thanks a lot Ron!!). Food was of good quality and variety, room was very quiet, not much (to none) waiting time for elevators (we were at 27th floor). Location is perfect. Clearly a place to come back whenever going to NYC.

I recently stayed at The Chemists Club Hotel with my girlfriend and had an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—every staff member was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay special. The room was beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable, still smelling fresh because the whole hotel just went into renovation. The attention to detail was impressive, from the luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities provided. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore manhattan, next to Grand Central. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we can’t wait to return and we will be back here for sure.

I thought a midnight stroll through Central Park would be peaceful… maybe even magical. I was so wrong. The park was dark, empty, and straight-up creepy. I tried to convince myself it was fine — until I saw a rat. Not just any rat. This thing was the size of a cat, casually scurrying like it owned the place. I froze. Then I saw another. And another. At that point, I sat down on a bench to gather my courage… but every sound made me jump. It felt like I was in a horror movie. I was convinced I’d either get mugged or dragged off by a mutant rat army. I booked it out of there so fast, I didn’t even look back. Central Park might be lovely during the day, but at midnight? It's a no from me.

Loved our horse and carriage ride through Central Park. This was a fabulous way to see a lot of the areas in as short a time as possible. Some beautiful fountains and architecture throughout this park and we loved our time there.

Nice. Be prepared to stay the day to experience it all. We started our day with a horse carriage ride throught the park to get our bearings. Ate Lunch at Tavern on the Green--must call and make reservations! You can also go to their website to purchace gift card! Rode the old carasol, went to the Central Park Zoo, Strawberry fields, the Home Alone Tunnel, ventured over to see the Plaza Hotel and the famous toy store, walked to the Natural History Museum. You can also walk to the Mtropolitan Museum of Art! Would have loved to have more time to rent a bike--would have been fun. It's huge and would take a day to truely enjoy--lots of walking.

Central Park is a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of New York city. Located smack in the middle of the city you can explore and enjoy so many outdoor activities like the Zoo, ice skating, Belvedere Castle, Playgrounds for children, running, reading and even people watching is a thing.

Book the horse and cart ride with the group that have a team waiting on a line to the left as you base the park, they will take 5 people and it’s cheaper. They people that bombard you say 4 max so if there are 5 you have to get w carts… this is not the case. Was nice to be shown a route round, be informed of the local landmark and then walk round a different route to see them again on our ouwn time. It’s worth going to the visitor centre for a map.

The hotel is huge. But it is more of a hotel with many small rooms. You only meet people in the bathroom, so it is not very social. It fulfilled its purpose to explore Manhatten. It was clean and easily accessible, close to the metro and Central Park. You have sockets and a light on the bed.

Best value hotel 5 mins walk from Central Park and 10 mins walk from Grand Central Station. I could not believe the price - don't waste your money at the Plaza, this is so close to all of New York's Midtown landmarks, Times Square, etc and 1/4 the price. It's clean. Well equipped. Perfect size. Excellent shower. Coffee for sale downstairs. Brilliant

This hotel is perfectly located, close to the Central Park, Broadway, Times Square and subway stations. We were a bit concerned with noise prior to our arrival, but the kindly staff gave us a room facing back and it was really quiet (for New York). We were pleasantly surprised by this. Friendly staff members like miss Karina, Miss Nancy and the Paris borne gentlemen that makes perfect espresso coffee made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in midtown either alone or with family.

The hotel is in a walkable distance from Times Square, Empire State, Rockefeller Center, Central Park and metro stations. The neighborhood also has great restaurants and everything you may need. Room has decent space for New York standards and the staff was great. Breakfast was ok, but could have more variety and healthier options.

Don't forget to pack your comfy shoes or trainers this is the best place to explore on foot and if you get a little tired, take a rest in Central park or Grand Central or the New York Public Library. If you get really tired or if the weather turns make sure you invest in a weekly Subway pass the best way to get from the top to the bottom of the city for only 30 dollars!!!
