Keep in mind that it gets very busy and it's heated during winter, so it can get very hot and crowded inside. I would recommend layering clothes so you can stay an okay temperature during the whole visit. Check if you can book in advance. The best thing we found was booking a time slot early in the day (at Rockefella and 9/11 Memorial) and returning later in the day after experiencing places where you didn't have to queue (Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge).
