The life evolves (including dinosaurs and Sue) is a must-see! The museum also has temporary exhibits that come and go, annd excellent Earlt Americas exhibit, and their other permanent exhibits are quite varied covering global cultures, biology, and science. Don’t plan to try to see everything in one day, choose 2-5 exhibits depending on the time you have (about and hour for each exhibit at least).

The Field Museum of Natural History is spectacular, as is the view of the city skyline if you walk out along the lakeshore a bit
