We liked everything about The Metric. The place is immaculate, minimalist chic, and has super comfy mattress/pillows. The owners really look after the property and make sure everything is perfect. We were here last year, too, and we can't think of staying anywhere else when we return again next year!

What a great and strange place with a long history. there is a documentary on youtube about the history of the hotel . Located in the Art District. one can walk (two blocks) to little tokio. Very clean, shared bath was no problem, the hotel was quiet and people working there extreme friendly. We staed two nights, had dinner in Little Tokio both nights and visited Universal Studios from there.

The location was great for visiting downtown Los Angeles. It is cool to be able to do the check-in process, as well as control the room digitally. I also appreciate the late check-in hours. Since our flight was delayed, knowing we had room despite the late hours was comfortable.

The hotel was fantastic, the staff were amazing especially the Bartenders they were very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice on where to visit during our stay in LA. The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end.
