    White Sands National Park is a good stop for a day.

    White Sands National Park is a good stop for a day. The visitor center was interesting. The boardwalk trail was closed so that was disappointing. It was very hot when we were there so we didn't attempt any other hikes/walks. It looked like the kids using the sand sleds were having a good time however it makes it difficult to get a photograph of the pristine sand without tracks. It would be nice to limit the location where this is allowed near the road.

    Clean room and comfortable beds. The hotel is close to a few restaurants. Walmart is at 15 minutes walking distance. Great location for visiting White Sands National Monument by car.

    It is rather quirky… but the room we had was completely adequate. Pool was ok. Breakfast nice atmosphere and food. Good point to travel to White Sands National Monument.

     The location is perfect for the white sands national monument, and the pool is great. The staff was very friendly and flexible; they waited for me for check-in even if I could only check in very late because of a late arrival in Albuquerque
