Nyung and her husband are outstanding hosts, with a gentle and warm personality and they were very eager and generous to make our stay as pleasent as possible. We spent 4 nights there and very much enjoyed the dinner there each evening. Authentic food with veggies from their own garden. They also lent us their bicycles and helped us planing our activities. We cycled to the famous Bai Dinh temple and the following day to the nearby town Ninh Binh. Even though they opened their homestay only a few months ago, the garden already looks really nice and the property is embedded in the typical limestone landscape. We can highly recommend this homestay!

The best hotel to enjoy beautiful nature and high quality service We spent 4 nights in this wonderful place and fall in love with absolutely everything. The hotel located in silent place, surrounded by mountains, plants and river with ducks and frogs. The room was clean and spacious. WiFi also didn’t cause any problem. We enjoyed breakfast in terrace in front of river, and in the evening hotel’s territory beautifully illuminated. The hotel provide free bicycles, so we used them to visit Hoa Lu Ancient capital and Trang An. In next days we rent bike for 150 000 dong/day to visit more remote heritage places. I would especially like to note the work of the staff, while all of them were really friendly, helpful, polite and responsive. Overall, I strongly recommend this place to stay

We LOVED our stay at Trang An Homestay. We instantly felt welcomed by everyone and felt at home. We were shocked by the beauty that surrounds the property, as well as the perfect condition of the rooms. The beds were so comfy and the rooms spotless but what made the experience amazing truly was the family. They were friendly, accomodating with motorbike rental and served such amazing food!

This Homestay is owned by a super sweet couple. They were very helpful whenever we had a problem they did their best to help us, for example calling our guide and booking a bus ride back to Hanoi. We really enjoyed our time here despite the rainy weather.

    Its actually quite nice to walk around early in the morning...

    Its actually quite nice to walk around early in the morning before the other tourists arrive, but in reality it is a couple of quite nice by nothing special temples in the main complex, a nothing special temple out in a very scenic valley bewteen karst towers, and a totally uninspiring temple up quite a climb up some steep steps near the top of a hill.

    Accept the offer of a motorbike tour at the gate to see it all, otherwise you’ll never find all the locations. Trust the locals. They are trying to make a living sure - as we all are. But you gotta trust that apart from the odd taxi driver, in Vietnam most people ARE NOT trying to rip you off. Yes people offering directions are doing just that like you would at home. And do give some money to the lady monks who hold out their hands when you visit. It is how they survive. Don’t be cheap and mean please! I witnessed some bad white people behaviour here and in Tam Coc and Hoi An. Try not to be an asshole!
