The hotel is conveniently located close to the Grindelwald station and town centre. Comfortable bed and pillow, for the single room is of decent size. Very clean shared shower with good water pressure and toilets. The staff is great and helpful with any questions. Nice breakfast.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. At first, there was a problem with the bed, but he responded quickly and warmly, and even helped us change to a new room. Later, we accidentally left a wallet in the room after checkout, and he kindly returned it to us in person. Truly one of the best hosts we’ve encountered!

What better location can you find if you want to hike around Aletsch Arena and ride the cable cars and gondolas to the glacier viewing points. The breakfast was good. The room was the best room of all the 3 hotels I stayed at in Switzerland and I set myself a maximum budget of 90 CHF for a single room. It had its own toilet amd shower.

Surrounded by a large garden, Waldhuus Bellary is peacefully located at the foot of the Eiger Mountain at the edge of Grindelwald and, the hotel has been renovated into a retro 70s style.
