I loved chatting with Carlos, who is an absolute gem of a person. He and Willy are excellent hosts. The hike down to the lodge is a bit of an adventure the first time but that adds to the fun. And once you’ve done it once it feels quite simple. Do make sure to wear your hiking boots and only bring what you need, though - they conveniently provide a place in town for you to store your extra things (the people there are also incredibly nice).Guest review byCarolynSolo traveller

William was an excellent host who was eager to share information about the area, for example where to go for a good coffee tour. You can hike around the lodge to a nearby river and see some animals. Our hut was small but sufficient and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and they provide a lot of things to do, like books, a tv with Netflix, a chess game and drums to make music.Guest review byLisaPeople with friends
