Exceeded all expectations. Thank you to the staff for all their help. Beautiful well maintained grounds. We saw more animals in the yard than in a national park. Lots of hummingbirds, a raccoon came between 10am and 11, and a family of Capuchin monkeys came every day around 2pm. It was a lot of fun to watch them.

Playa Negra Guest house is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views.

The location is amazing, the breakfast is fantastic, but to me the best part is the host . Alberto is friendly and is not afraid to the extra mile to help his customers. His help was priceless to get our lost luggage back. He also knows the area perfectly with lots of good recommendations, including the restaurant Las Olas, which is amazing.

The owners were very generous - they even allowed us to wash clothing in their washing machine. Alberto is a great guy and makes an amazing breakfast as well. The place is amazing and located at walking distance from an idyllic beach. Best place in Cahuita.

We loved everything ! The facilities, the location, the interior design is absolutely amazing, the breakfast is very delicious as well, Rosie was preparing it in the kitchen kind of in front of us :) Also I’d like to highlight that they tidied up the room even after one day. And the sound of the jungle is just unbeatable let it be day or night! :)

Heard the Howler Monkeys while taking a shower! Enrica was very nice, location close to everything and especially close to the sea! Everything was beautiful… the room was perfect and very clean… highly recommend: )
