Beautiful and calm. Right in the jungle. Wonderful sunrise views, with morning monkey visits (shut the door and please don’t feed them - it’s not good for them!). Attentive and welcome hosts!

Hotel Aurora is the best place you can chose to stay while in Montezuma, the spacious room, the AC, and the fan, the amazing relax space, i.e. your own balcony - with a hammock and a wonderful view, the great option to use a kitchen facility, so you can prepare your own meal, this was simply an a m a z i n g stay! We were upgraded to a private room with outside kitchen and dining/hang out area which was greatly appreciated since we had two small children. We loved it and even added another night to our stay, 4 nights total. It was so much fun to listen and look for the howler monkeys in the next trees - but we also saw many birds just from our place in the hammocks. Hosts were really nice and made sure all our needs were met. Highly recommended!
