We were a bit worried about the room we were in not being airconditioned, but the fan that was in the room delivered. This was such a cool room to stay in, we felt like we were in a little tree house. It was very quiet, except for the howler monkeys in the morning. The staff was available for any questions we had. The location was great, so many places to eat close by. We highly recommend the soda that is to the right when you exit the hotel, the food was delicious.

It was absolutely in a perfect peaceful farm-like jungle setting - away from the crowds and business. It was only a few minutes within walking distance to the beach. The property had a wonderful pool for swimming and relaxing. Also, hammocks were setup in various areas to enjoy at different times in the day. The location was very close to shopping or site-seeing by car. We had the pleasure of hearing howler monkeys - sometimes close and in the distance. One morning, we had a parade of monkeys (howlers), like 20 it seemed, passing through the tree-tops in the yard. The whole troop were quiet as mice. We also had iguanas of all sizes passing by our cabina. The hosts welcomed us with delicious homemade bread for us to enjoy in the morning.

The location was great: quiet and relatively close to many nice places like Curu wildlife refuge, Montezuma, Santa Teresa. The host (Brigitte)was very nice and friendly.

Set right on the beach in Cabuya, on the beautiful Nicoya Peninsula, Calala Lodge offers a large outdoor pool and charming cabins surrounded by tropical gardens.

Cabin was ensconced in forest with a lovely ocean view. Quiet and peaceful, but steps away from restaurant.

Hotel Aurora offers great lounge area and wooden deck with seating area, hammocks surrounded by lush gardens and the nature allure of Montezuma enchantments.

Amazing place. Beach front and peaceful place. The breakfast was amazing. All the staff were very nice (Marjorie, Maureen, Flory and Elias) and best beach to connect and relax! 100% recommended!

The location was good near of the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The house is in middle of a forest and is really quiet and is easy to see birds and monkeys. The pool is really nice and the beach is near walking. The house was clean and have all we need to enjoy the week we spend there.
