Angelo is an exceptional host—kind, friendly, and always making you feel at home. He went above and beyond to take care of us, arranging tuk-tuks and responding to all our requests. Plus, he's great company! The place is stunning, with a perfect location and a luxurious room. Surrounded by nature, we spotted amazing wildlife, especially the adorable Grizzled Giant Squirrel! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! The best place in whole Sri Lanka! The hosts are so helpful and nice! Very, very clean! The best view of the bridge! There is a path to the railway. Just 5 minutes and you are there! The breakfast was more than enough, very delicious and the fresh juice is presented like a cocktail 🍹

We had a amazing stay here, the rooms are very new, good water pressure and very clean. You can enjoy a nice view from the balcony. We had a truly wonderful stay and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The accommodation was absolutely fabulous—comfortable, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed to meet every need. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The food was another highlight, offering a delicious variety of well-prepared dishes that delighted our taste buds. This was the best breakfast we received in Sri Lanka. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

The cottage is in a beautiful location - perfect for enjoying the views of the valley around Ella, including Ella Rock. You can also hear Ravana Falls at night! The host was exceptional - she was always available to help for recommendations and anything by we needed. We also did a cooking class with her which was amazing, and definitely recommend this to any guests staying.

    The Spice Lodge is a special place located within walking distance to Ella center. The family that runs the lodge are the kindest, most helpful people. The breakfast was delicious, and the dinner we had was the best curry we had on our trip. Highly recommended lodging.
