Priyanga was very kind and helpful, he cooked us the best meals that offered some variety from what ate on our trip, gave us good tips and helped us organise our next activity. He even preprared some homemade medicine for a sore throat! We are really grateful to have had him as our host, we will always remember his hospitality. Greetings to you, Priyanga! The house‘s location is a 10/10, less than a 15 min drive from the Adam‘s Peak start and is surrounded by a great landscape, especially in comparison to Dalhousie (where the hike starts), so it‘s really worth the short ride.

The view of Gregory Lake and surrounds was spectacular. The property was a self contained flat above the owners house. It had been tastefully decorated and designed and was extremely clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The bedroom window showed an amazing view which could be seen from the bed. The owner had thought of everything. Tea, coffee, shampoo,, bath wash,. There is also a sitting room with a coffee table I would have taken home if I could. The owner organised a very reasonable tuk tuk to the railway station. There are steepish stairs up to the property but Leslie helped with the luggage.

Our stay at the lodge was truly wonderful. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the view from the property was simply breathtaking. The lodge is family-owned, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made our experience even more special. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail ensured that we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. A nice place in the center of Sri Lanka. Away from tourists, close to wonderful nature. A unique place. Clean and fragrant. We enjoyed entering the room after a whole day of sightseeing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty, although the selection could be larger. Frank was a godsend when our car broke down. Without him, we wouldn't have been able to arrange a mechanic. He ordered tuk-tuks for us and stayed to organize technical help. We highly recommend this place!
