This was one of the best overnight stays during our one month trip through Sri Lanka. The room was large, modern with a balcony with a fantastic view of the rainforest and tea plantation! You could watch the animals and birds and enjoy the sunset! The pool was also super pleasant, even though it was already dark. There is a restaurant and they serve good food. Perfect for relaxing in nature. There is also space to put bikes in front of the bungalow. Unfortunately we didn't go, but you can go on a hike through the rainforest, even in the evening. I would like to come back there again one day!

A special place right at the entrance to the rainforest. The pool is fantastic, the huts are beautiful, the beds very comfortable, all equipped with mosquito nets. The grounds are very lovingly designed with lots of plants and very well maintained. The staff are totally courteous, super nice and friendly and always ready to help. They fetched extra coconuts from the tree for our children. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We were recommended a very interesting tour into the rainforest, which fully fulfilled our expectations. Unfortunately, the music from the neighbouring accommodation was very annoying, especially at weekends. But that's not the fault of the owners. A clear recommendation!

Next to the stunning beauty of the place (the room, the waterfall, the restaurant, the rainforest trails,..), the warm welcoming staff and owners (who make the best food in sri lanka), i was struck by the peaceful energy. This was the place in Sri Lanka where i really got energised. Thank you!!

The staff were very welcoming and professional. Despite the fact that we were the only guests at the hotel, and it seemed like a very quiet period, everything was functional and the staff were prepared to fulfil all of our needs and wants. We asked for extra spice in our evening meals, and it was done. We asked for eggs a particular way in the morning, and it was done. The wildlife in the grounds and around the hotel was an excellent introduction to our trip to the rainforest.

Really charming 'homestay' style place run by very nice family. Our little house had absolutely incredible views over the forest. The hosts arranged our visit to the forest and the guide. Nothing fancy here, just simple,clean and comfortable accommodation. It's a bit hard to find but the host came out on this scooter and met our tuktuk driver who was lost, so all was well. I recommend staying here.
