The location is awesome, and so is the room and the whole villa as well! It really feels like you are in the jungle. The rooms are bug proof and no insects or spiders have been inside during our stay. You can hear the monkeys in the jungle during the evening and see the tempels of Palenque during the morning (from our room). The beds are good and the breakfast is good too. The staff is friendly and the owner talked a lot with us, absolutely an amazing guy who really let us feel home there.

    We are very grateful for the wonderful service of Hotel Cabanas Safari. Our bus broke down from San Cristobal and we had to wait for 5 hours for a new one. We arrived at 4.00 in the morning. During that time the accommodation reached out to us if we were okay and they waited for us to arrive. The receptionist is a very kind man, the owner is very professional and the restaurant staff very friendly. We felt very looked after and would return to our comfortable cabana with the best shower!
