NetherlandsReally comfortable lodge at a stunning location: very lush and green gardens and beautiful view over lake Kivu, with the opportunity to swim. Our room was very comfi and had a great view of the lake. Great communicatuon with the reception, host made sure to call us in advance when we were going to arrive in the evening so that dinner could be prepared for us.

Therefore it’s a quiet area but good for relaxing. The lodge itself is nicely built and has nice views to the lake. It is not lakefront though. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the rooms to the staff. I cannot praise the staff highly enough; they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and engaging in conversation. They truly are the heart of this lodge. Additionally, what I loved most was the fireplace, which adds a unique touch. The view was amazing, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. We stopped for a small break and to relax in our round trip of Rwanda and it was worth it.
