The house is in the forest with beautiful view. It has a great location, but you can only go by car. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We haven't met the staff (you can check-in contactless), but they wrote/respond only in slovakian.

Everything was 10/10 including contact with very pleasant host, cleanliness, comfort and location. Me and my friends were very surprised about this place. I think we return there someday! I also attached photo of beautiful view from room where I slept.

We had a wonderful stay at this house with a group of friends during our ski trip. The property offers plenty of space, and the living room is a highlight, featuring a large, warm stove that the host, Zuzanna, had kindly preheated before our arrival, making the house warm and cosy. The bedrooms are spacious, and each comes with its own private bathroom, which was a big plus for our group. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking and even has a dishwasher, making cleanup much easier. There’s also a private parking area with a covered space, which was very convenient since we were driving to the ski resort daily and didn’t have to worry about finding parking. The house is decorated with authentic and charming details, creating a lovely atmosphere that made us feel like we were visiting family for the weekend. Although we were a group of young adults, we noticed the house is also well-suited for families with children, with all the necessary amenities and toys for little ones. The host, Zuzanna, was incredibly kind and responsive to all our questions, which made our stay even better. Highly recommend this place for both groups of friends and families!

It is a big and comfortable house, warm because of the good heating system, I loved the kitchen, it's very cosy and had enough space for 5 people. And I am grateful for the illuminated Christmas tree in the hall, my kids enjoyed it very much.

Well, I felt like at home apart from that, that I don't own a highlander's cottage in the Tatras :) I loved the pitch-black nights and its deathly hush. The morning view from a terrace was astonishing. Brilliant, not so remote location — despite the closed Bachledka (maintenance for the whole November) and hiking trails (closed from November to the end of May by TANAP), we enjoyed other trails in nearby, scenic viewpoints and a trip to the Belianska cave. Great contact with the owner and contactless access is a massive plus. Ah, and of course, the cottage is well-equipped. It's difficult to see this as something I didn't like about the facility, but Zdiar is a Sleepy Hollow in the off-season, what can be considered as a plus (by us, at least). There is a grocery store nearby, about a 15-minute walk down the road ;) For lazybones or tired after outdoor activities, there's TV and high-speed internet ;) Definitely worth of visit.
