The staff was friendly and in good mood. Always attentive. The beach was kept clean, which seemed to be part of the 'clean village project', which is actively supported by Blue Reef. We had breakfast and dinner. We have chosen the healthy variety, which was good and rife in fruit. Dinner was excellent. From the concise menu we enjoyed the yellow tuna steak from freshly caught fish by staff (as can be expected in a 'fishing' lodge). We were very pleased by the huge beach that appeared at low tide.

Our experience at the Mkeka Spice has been unbeatable: well located a few minutes from the beach, comfortable and spacious rooms, but best of all the attention and kindness that Lucky has had with us, helping us in everything and giving us the best recommendations. My niece and I stayed at the Zanzibar Dream Lodge for about 9 days. The staff were professional , accommodating and very kind. Our gratitude to Kassim for making our stay in Zanzibar memorable , for his help with booking taxis from and to the airport , with my phone ( as I had few issues with it ) etc. The breakfast was ok. Dinner was great ! Plenty of options for vegans , vegetarians , pescatarians etc. The room where we stayed was spacious , clean and had a very comfortable bed. I would definitely return to the Zanzibar Dream Lodge again.

It was so so so great, I loved it there!!! I probably stayed a bit longer than most of the guests and really became part of the family. I met the nicest staff ever and had the most amazing time there. It's a bit out of the way from Paje but you can be in town in 2 minutes on the Boda Boda/ 30 minute walk, but a pool day at demani is also highly recommended if you just want to relax :)

Excellent location with a perfect view of the beach and ocean. Loved breakfast served on the balcony. staff were friendly and excellent service Great restaurants The wishing tree and The Rock very near. Well managed and run hotel.

Monkey Mountain Lodge has great location with stunning views over the green forest and blue ocean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Mattress and pillows are very comfortable and better than in many hotels. And beautiful red colobus monkeys added the final pitch to our stay.

Nice and clean accomodation. Camp fire at night. Locally owned business. Many monkeys. The tours were very well organized, more authentic than what you can find in stone town. The food is amazing!
