It is located 100 metres from El Calafate’s main square, which features a viewpoint. Free private parking is provided. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were well received by the host that answered all our questions and gave us great tips. The location is perfect nearby the bus terminal.

With large windows overlooking the lake, rooms at La Estela are very bright and spacious. They feature stylish wooden furnishing, heating and private bathroom. The attention of the staff was one of the best we have encountered in our travels. The horse ride and parrillada is not to be missed.

After a day of horse riding, fishing or cycling, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. All activities and food were included in the price. Naturally you expect something sub-par but we were blown away by everything. 11/10

El Calafate Bus Station is less than 1 km from the lodge, while Regional Museum is a 6-minute walk from the property. Comandante Armando Tola International Airport is 19 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Matias was a great host. The property is located very close the town center and bus terminal.
