The hotel manager was nice and sweet. She left some cheese in the fridge, offered a bottle of rose, and made sure we had a ready to go fireplace with some extra wood to keep the cabin warm for 2 nights. We definitely have to come back!

Hunter Valley Gardens is 12 km from Pokolbin Cottages. Newcastle Airport is 73 km away. Beautiful setting, easy to walk or bike to several wineries. We stayed mid week and had the place to ourselves!

The lodge offers a barbecue. Had a lovely stay at this quiet cottage at The Hunter. Dominic was a great host and gave us all the information needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself is very comfortable and the highlight is the hot tub which provided many hours of relaxation! Would recommend to any who are wishing to explore this lovely area.

In collaboration with Harkham Estate who has recently acquired the property each guest staying at the cabins gets to indulge in a complimentary wine tasting and to dine in the newly opened Restaurant within minutes walking distance from the cabins to the winery making it the perfect stay. Such a beautiful secluded area. We had a nice, peaceful stay, yet it was still only a short drive to pubs and shops. Really nice items left in the fridge for us as well as nice clean facilities
