Everything, it’s such an amazing paradise. The staff were very welcoming and warm. The food was delicious. They organized the game drivers and were so enthusiastic about searching for the big 5, organized the mokoros as well as the helicopter rides to the Okavonga Delta.

Met all expectations of what a lodge on the Okavango should be.

Helpful staff who assisted with booking a game drive to Moremi reserve at short notice. They also prepared a picnic lunch for this activity. Good shuttle service from and to the airport. The shuttle coordinated with both international flights and flights to the Safari camps operating from the airport. The location was convenient and the outlook pleasant. Lovely bar and pool area in the gardens, and indoor/outdoor dining. A very convenient staging point for trips to the Okavango Safari camps

Positive to note that in the dusty, uninventing place called Maun such a lodge even exists. Staff is friendly but often not very competent, it happened twice that the waiter took the food order in the restaurant but forgot to hand it over to the kitchen, resulting in a wait of more than one hour before a simple sup arrived at the table. Free shuttle to the airport, clean rooms.

The Waterfront is an exceptional guest house with even more exceptional staff. Ray and all of the staff are truly trying to go above and beyond to ensure that your time in Maun/Botswana is unforgettable. They will do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING for you, including organizing trips, providing recommendations, ordering food, taxi, etc... The room was clean and the food was good. We had a buffet and a la carte. The location was at the Thamalakane river but it was dry when we where there (July). The staff was friendly and helpful. After the stay we booked a 2 night safari in Moremi and Kwai with Planet Safari (right across the street) which was a wonderful experience. After that we came back again at Thamalakane lodge for 1 night.

Nice and individually decorated lodges /"chalets" in a tropical garden with pool. Beds with mosquito nets. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you !
