The lodge offers a terrace. Well, I felt like at home apart from that, that I don't own a highlander's cottage in the Tatras :) I loved the pitch-black nights and its deathly hush. The morning view from a terrace was astonishing. Brilliant, not so remote location — despite the closed Bachledka (maintenance for the whole November) and hiking trails (closed from November to the end of May by TANAP), we enjoyed other trails in nearby, scenic viewpoints and a trip to the Belianska cave. Great contact with the owner and contactless access is a massive plus. Ah, and of course, the cottage is well-equipped. It's difficult to see this as something I didn't like about the facility, but Zdiar is a Sleepy Hollow in the off-season, what can be considered as a plus (by us, at least). There is a grocery store nearby, about a 15-minute walk down the road ;) For lazybones or tired after outdoor activities, there's TV and high-speed internet ;) Definitely worth of visit.

The host is very helpful and kind. Our room was clean, the kitchen was well equipped. Our dog was also welcomed at the accommodation. I can only recommend!
