There was a kitchen available and we were going to cook our meal but we were travelling by bicycle and too tired to ride into town to buy provisions so luckily there was a restaurant nearby. My partner is celiac so luckily they did have something on the menu for her. I had left my reading glasses behind and the host kindly offered to send them back home to Canada for me.

The provision was excellent, down to a lovely full-bean coffee machine (beans provided generously, just leave a contribution in the tin next to the machine). The small terrace was peaceful and gorgeous to just take in the sounds of rural life - the nearby church tower, birds, and sounds of busy agricultural activity. Really lovely place. Next door is a vibrant and friendly pizza restaurant too - highly recommend a visit there if you're staying.
