There is a children's playground and a barbecue at this property and guests can go cycling nearby. Really comfortable, cosy room. Real fire in room was a treat! Good quality, homemade food. Loads of animals including friendly dogs. Reception/dining area reminded me of a cosy English country pub. The hosts organised a guide at short notice to take us to Cotopaxi.

This place is just pure magic. From the privilege of being alone, to the position at the feet of the beautiful Chimborazo, to the beautiful animals that you can see by just getting out of your room. In 25 days of traveling across Ecuador it was definitely one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we stayed and it was for sure absolutely the best place during our 11 days of travels in the Andes. Special thanks to the staff for being so friendly and professional at the same time. The food was always amazing and really healthy.

A daily breakfast with cereals and fruits is included and there is an on-site restaurant with regional cuisine. Everything, the place, the rooms, the staff, wish I could stay much longer!

Breakfast was large and tasty. Place od located in nice, quiet location, but it's not far from restaurants and shops (15 minutes walk)

With mountain views, Hotel Tambopaxi is set in Machachi and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, snack bar, garden, sun terrace and children's playground. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. This was an unbelievable experience! It is a perfect getaway in Andes, very authentic place surrounded by endless mountains. Restaurant serves delicious Andean food, staff members are very friendly and helpful! It is a perfect stay for hikers and climbers who are willing to spend several days in Cotopaxi valley. The sky at night…. Unbelievable! They have a very good wifi, rooms are big and clean, hot water. Stove works perfectly well - I left it on for a couple of hours, and warmed my room for the whole night. Several blankets. All cabins have a wonderful view of the mountains. I highly recommend!!

This property also features a TV (DirectTV - Netflix) in the common areas. Meals were fine. Clean room with fireplace (great for cold nights). Staff was friendly and helpful.

Set 50 km from Bolivar Theatre, Chuquiragua Lodge & Spa offers accommodation with a garden, a bar and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. B&B feel with great breakfast. Dinner was also great. Friendly staff made me an off-menu meal at my request, fair price. Pet llamas (won't let you pet them, but you shouldn't anyway) add to charm. Main house's antiques add to B&B charm. Stayed here on day one of two-day Cotopaxi/Quilotoa tour. My tour operator recommended this place and dropped me off and picked me up here. Very quiet, great place to stay if you are visiting Cotopaxi and not returning to Quito for the night.

The lodge was so cosy and the beds were really comfortable, with heaps of soft blankets provided. The shower was also nice and hot! The included dinner and breakfast was great too. Great value for money!
