Situated on a ridge above the village, Aranka Tempasan offers wonderful views of Mount Rinjani in the background. Reached via a macadam path, it feels like you've entered another world when you arrive. There are also various activities on offer with a local guide. We visited an authentic local village and took a trip into the nearby jungle to see the waterfalls. We also took a painting course. The owner, Berry, is very warm-hearted and has a great sense of how to run the business. Together with the very kind staff, he runs the business as a community. Needless to say, the food is delicious, too. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in nature and experience the local way of life.

With pool views, Owa Lodge Areguling is set in Kuta Lombok and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The rooms are big and clean with 2x2m beds. We were sleeping 2 adults and 1 5 years-old kid. The hotel is very quiet with a nice pool practically for you as there are only 6 rooms. The kitchen serves excellent quality food all the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner. We tasted 80% of the plates and they were delicious!! Better than going to Kuta. It's near Kuta but you will need a transport. The are no Grab cars in the area but there's a private driver living near the hotel called Han, really recommended!! Just ask for him in the reception.

The location was of exceptional beauty. The cottages were amazing, with all that is needed inside, a good bed, a good bathroom, a little terrace where to sit and contemplate the views. They have restaurant service that will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner...everything homemade and delicious. But the best of it all was the staff, always eager to help. You can see this is a family-run business that has started with some many ilusions, but people that want to make the best out of it.

With pool views, Kelapa Lodge - Lombok - is situated in Senggigi and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We travelled with our kids- 13 and 15. We love to travel vs “holiday”. Staying in the quiet village close to the mosque really helped us feel immersed in their culture. The host Putu & staff were so welcoming and chilled out. The family room was perfect! If you are looking for luxuries this isn’t for you. Comfort and peace then yes!

Relaxing chair or a table with chairs. Location is great, and strategically placed.

This place is the most authentic place we have been with the most genuine people we met. We learned about their local culture and way of living and felt part of their community during these two days: joining them for an UNO game, English class and tour. Leaving was hard because Hari and his friends made us feel super welcomed.
