Wonderful people watching from the cafe terrace!! A genuine easy 10 min walk to the Fort. Room was super clean with good hot water and comfy bed. But best of all was the manager Vicky, he was so relaxed and attentive and helpful, with loads of good stories. A true host!

Guests at the lodge can enjoy darts on site, or cycling in the surroundings. We had an absolutely lovely time at Cedar Hill Lodge. They’ve recently renovated the property and the rooms are very comfortable with cute interiors and everything you need. The common room is cute and cozy, and they have an outdoor area where you can chill and work with great views of the mountains. There’s also an open deck where we spent time stargazing. The sunrise and moon rise from here are simply stunning. The chef Jogan whipped up some delicious meals for us, including very good continental food. The place is run by Atul and Garima, who were super helpful with recommendations around the area. Babloo took good care of us and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. Do note that the place is in Chharabra, about 25 minutes away from Shimla. For us this was an advantage since we wanted to be away from the crowds. There are some restaurants nearby serving good food. It’s just across the road from Wildflower Hall, and is also very close (walkable) to a temple and the Rashtrapati Niwas. There are nature trails. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with breathtaking views!

We had a wonderful time, will recommend the Bonfire at night, it was a wonderful experience.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. I enjoyed my time at Hobo huts, the host is great to have a conversation with, food was delicious as well. Many things to do around like taking a dip in the river, hike to a waterfall, village walk. There are some cute little puppies there as well. All in all time well spent.
