Lovely niche lodgings. Great mountain views and friendly host.

Going with a vacation rental instead of a hotel is a bit of a gamble because you can't be sure about the quality of the lodging. In this case is was outstanding. Spacious, centrally located, but quiet. The apartment is well appointed.

we stayed in the garden lodge for two night, very nice , clean, minimalistic but we loved our time watching the great tree in the garden at nights everyone was very kind, helped with our laundies too. we'll definetly visit again if we had the chancelocation was perfect

Comfy bed and couch, big smart TV, kitchen with basics Fairly modern apartment Good value for Iceland (where lodging is relatively expensive apparently) The location is a bit out of town, so having your own means of transport will be quite useful. Be advised that warm water in Iceland can smell a bit of sulphur. So it's not a drain that is leaking, that's just what warm water can smell like in Iceland O:) I would stay there again if I ever come back.

Iceland is known for its small lodging spaces and this place is no exception. What matters is its prime location, cleanliness, and staff. I exceeds all three marks.

A great experience - lovely viking lodges and really helpful staff, they even helped move my car when I was on a trip. The breakfasts were great. It is very easy to find and get to and is on the drop off and pick up stops for the tours.
