Amber house is very cleaning hotel and there staff is very friendly. From the balcony nice river view 👌 breakfast is so delicious. I recommend this amazing hotel. Owner is very helpful person. They no charge water coffee and tea. They bring over the river to beach just for 2 min ride to beach. And nice river safari with many animals .

The location is by the Bentota river. The property offers a boat safari into the river that takes you through the mangroves. The pricing for the boat ride in an off season is very reasonable. The food is simple but very well made. The entire staff at Waterside Bentota was extremely hospitable and helpful.

Little old but very nice accommodation close to Bentota beach. The host is really kind and helpful. Arranged river safari for us and cooked tasty dinners-mullet fish and prawns. The breakfast was big and very tasty.

We have just returned from the most amazing 3 weeks spent at Kurumba Villas.. The lodges are set in beautiful gardens that is immaculate. Very tranquil & lots of wildlife to see.. Lovely pool, the temperature of the water was perfect.. Not too cold. Plenty of options offered for breakfast & was always freshly prepared. All of the staff were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble.. The location was good, close to the beach & restaurants.. Tuk Tuk available upon request. Thank You so much for a wonderful stay!

A very spacious and comfy unit which has everything we needed. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, organizing for us a river safari and a Tuk Tuk for our tour of Lunuganga and the Brief Garden. Harinda, the guide who offered the river safari, is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the mangrove, and its the flora and fauna. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari. The Tuk Tuk driver, Waruna, was extremely patient and helpful. Fans of Lunuganga and the Brief Garden would find River Breeze Villa a convenient base.

We had a great time thanks to the incredibly hospitable family. From assisting with laundry to arranging shoe repairs and connecting us with a boat safari on the Bentota River, they went above and beyond. The first-floor room was lovely, and the dining area was comfortable. The local breakfast was tasty.

First and foremost, Nelson was fantastic - so welcoming, helpful and had such care for his guests! Nelson organised a river safari for us, which was brilliant. Also, his food is well worth it!! Delicious! The place is peaceful and relaxing - a perfect stay. 100% would recommend!
