The host is an incredibly kind, hospitable, and responsive person, always ready to assist with anything you need. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He also has a wonderful dog, which makes the place feel even more welcoming. A pleasant surprise for me was that they sort waste here, which is rare to see. For just $13 a night, you won’t find a better place to stay in Kandy!

An Asian breakfast is available at the lodge. Amazing place almost in the jungle. You have all the privacy you can wish for and apart from the sounds of the jungle 😉 it is very peaceful. Lots of wild animals around. Mosquito net. Fantastic host and very tasty breakfast. The place is clean and there is a warm shower in the bathroom. The location is very convinient and you can have a nice walk to The Lion Rock from there. The recommended restaurant was also very good. We would definitely recommend staying there!

The rooms were also very big with room to make yourself at home. What we loved most was the kind host family, they were so helpful and sweet to us. Also the breakfast was amazing. My boyfriend is a big guy and he ate very well and was never hungry. Absolutely would stay here again if we ever return and would recommend staying here to my friends and family

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Nice, clean rooms and the atmosphere was great with the hammocks and pool outside. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
