It’s a perfect place to relax and recharge after exploring the mountains and local sights. Getting to the center of Kandy is easy: take a tuk-tuk or hop on a local bus, which runs frequently. The host is an incredibly kind, hospitable, and responsive person, always ready to assist with anything you need. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He also has a wonderful dog, which makes the place feel even more welcoming. A pleasant surprise for me was that they sort waste here, which is rare to see. For just $13 a night, you won’t find a better place to stay in Kandy!

This lodge offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy an Asian breakfast. Beautiful accommodation in the hills surrounding Kandy. Actually some of my Kandy highlights were the lazy mornings and afternoons spent here. Punya is very responsive including when our train arrived later than expected, past 10pm, and also helped us arrange onward travel. Ravi is great, and made us feel very at home. He is also an excellent chef! The breakfasts are delicious, and we had something a little different each day. Thank you!

I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone that's looking for a relaxing time surrounded by nature.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. I cannot recommend this place enough. The villa is dreamy, with breathtaking peaceful surroundings, clean and the owners cannot do enough to make sure you have the best say. Firstly we were collected as our Uber driver got lost, then the owners organised dinner both evenings, took us to the elephant sanctuary and arranged a drive to our next destination. It was a trip we will never forget

This lodge provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. This place was just amazing, best part of our Sri Lankan road trip! It’s situated high up in the mountains with beautiful views and no people around. It’s so peaceful. I wish we could stay for weeks. The cottage is so comfy and well equipped. Erik, the owner, is great. He speaks really good English, always replies right away and organises anything you need. We had an old car and had hard times driving in the mountains so he organised parking spot for as and tuk to take us to the cottage. He also organised great guides to take us to Knuckles five peak trek. There is a dog Rocky who is super cute and friendly, making sure you’re safe during your stay. I highly recommend to order rice and curry too, it was so delicious!
